Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

This is the fifth Ride For Hope rally that I'm organising and the challenge doesn't get any easier each year. This year we have even more amateur cyclists joining in the fun.

This year the challenge will be a 'Biggy' for me because, as some of you know, I had major back surgery in January, an operation which saved me from being wheelchair bound, as I lost sensation in my legs due to trapped nerves in my back.

Your money goes to the homeless members in Northampton via my nominated charity, the Hope Centre. Over the past 5 years, my fellow cyclists and support team of the rally have contributed in raising almost £90k to this worthy cause. Your donation to my challenge will once again be ALL spent on helping rehabilitate those people less fortunate, plus, if you are a tax payer, 20% will be added to your donation for my target - great eh?!

The rally start this year on the 5th September & we will be riding 270  miles from Ypres BACK to Northampton as we celebrate this event in association with the end of the first World War, as we title this rally 'the troops are coming home', after 4 days in the saddle.....but having fun all the way!

Thank you for reading & contributing to my target funds this year.

Robert
