Story

I'm so pleased that you've decided to click through and visit my London Marathon JustGiving page!

OK, so here's the deal. I've always wanted to participate in the London Marathon and this year my name was selected at random to take part in the race on Sunday 24th April.

After 8 weeks of intensive training, and with one week to go, i finally feel fit and ready to go!

But before i get up to the start line, I've also - belatedly - decided to set myself an extra challenge: Raise £500+ in under 7 days for Scotty's Little SoldiersLast year you helped me and Nero raise over £500 pounds for the charity, when we took part in the IceMan Challenge. This year, its just me doing the leg work, but we've cranked up the mileage all the way up to 11! (well, a bit more than that really...)

And this is where your support, kindness and generosity come into play!

Please help me give Scotty's Little Soldiers some much needed support, to ensure that they continue their amazing work in providing relief from the effects of bereavement to kids who have suffered the loss of a parent in the British armed forces.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
