I have just succeded in cycling across England through my past,   There were four stages

1. From Colchester to West Mersea and back to get my feet wet and remember where I used to go as a boy on the 26th of July - 20.2 miles.
2. From Colchester (where I was born) to London (where I have lived and worked for the last 39 years) on the 27th of July - 61.4 miles.
3. From London to Reading to meet my best friend from school on the 29th of July - 47.8 miles.
4. From Reading to Bath where I went to university on the 31st of July - 70.6 miles.
