This year I'm stretching my legs and pushing myself (and probably my bike on some of the hills) a little further in aid of a great cause.

The Coast to Coast is an iconic ride traversing the country from Grange Over Sands on the west coast to Scarborough on the east coast. One of the most popular, rewarding and scenic cycle routes in the UK, covering 150 miles in 3 exhilarating days. The route takes us on and off road through some of Northern England's most spectacular countryside, and we will be raising money for Marie Curie Cancer Care in the process.

All donations will be going directly to the charity as I'm covering accommodation and transport costs myself.

Please dig deep on this special year for cycling, with the Tour de France starting off in Yorkshire in July, for a very worthy cause.
