We provide care, treatment and education to severely traumatised children

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the London Marathon for Childhood First Charity to support their efforts helping young children in need of care and education in the UK.

Working in education myself I know first hand the importance a good education is for children to help them make the best of themselves in life. As part of a child reaching their full potential mental well-being is a huge part of the journey and this charity helps to support the mental health of children who have had a difficult start in life. Please join me in helping raise money for this worthy cause.

I started my running journey at the beginning of this year and got injured from running my first half marathon. So training is hard at the moment, pushing myself to recover. Being as competitive as I am, I want to finish the marathon in a good time.

For a bit of competition, when you sponsor guess what time you think I will run the marathon in, write your guess in your comments for the donation. The person who has the closest guess will win a Christmas Hamper for Christmas 2022.

All your donations are much appreciated to support their great cause.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate.
