If you wait long enough for a challenge, more often than not something will come along.  In this case, thanks to my employers, SsangYong Motor UK Ltd, involvement with the splendid people at Level Trust, comes the daunting prospect of cycling from Luton to Paris at the end of April.

It ticks all the boxes - a fantastic cause, a reason to get back out on my bike and the possibility of enormous personal humiliation should I fail.
