Preventive health services are severely dented in Teso region. Evidence shows that 75% of the disease burden in Uganda is due to preventable causes. To this cause, Teso Health Appeal is fundraising by Iteso Welfare Association (IWA) to help provide access to basic health services through Mobile Outreach Vehicles which will move in rural communities looking for those patients who cannot afford nor travel to hospital in Teso for treatment. Last year we raised funds from individuals within Uganda and the diaspora which helped us set structures for the sponsor - IWA charity registered in UK and also  pay expenses for 4 patients who needed immediate medical operations. Now I call upon you to help open fundraising for the first mobile outreach clinic vehicle which will rescue masses and help them survive.
