Well folks thats it for another year. Cracked the hour 59 mins 23 secs. Thanks to all for the donations. The web site remains open for a few weeks yet so still time to donate. Thanks once again.

Less than a week to go. Fund raising has been a bit slow but there is a lot more people taking part in various events  about the same time as the Baker Hughes. Good luck to them all. It doesn't matter who raises the money for charity in the end a lot of good causes will benefit. Hopefully everybody will have a good day for their chosen event and money targets will have been reached.

Well thats the Balmoral over with. Turned out to be a nice day not to hot. But as they say "see that hill" ! Final time was just over the hour 1:00:53. A bit more training for the Baker Hughes on the the 23rd of next month and will be under the hour then, fingers crossed.

Once again I am going to try and break the land speed record for the 10k, or then again do it in under an hour (I am getting on a bit now).

I will be starting with the Balmoral 10K (http://www.runbalmoral.com) on the 24th April and then the Aberdeen Baker Hughes 10K  (http://www.aberdeencity.gov.uk/Sports/spr_10khomepage.asp) on the 23rd May, 2 for the price of one.

Since starting using JustGiving web site I have managed to raise over £1357 for Alzheimer Scotland. This sum of money I still find amazing and cannot thank my friends and colleagues enough for their generosity.  With the use of Gift Aid a further £337 can be added to that total. Fantastic.

Offline fund raising has also went well with just over £500 going to the cause.
