Following my 105.8 solo expedition reaching Sisimiut (Greenland) in March this year... I have decided to return in February 2018 (the coldest two weeks of the year)... once again 100% self sufficient... unsupported... but adding around 25 miles... starting from the glaciers east of Kangerlassuaq.

This is a rather serious physical as well as mental challenge... something that will require me being in the best physical conditions possible... hence my dedicated training has recently started. 

Details of 'Operation Greenland II’:

• Departure Date (Russell Glacier): 14th February 2018
• Return Date: unknown (subject to weather condition)
• Expected Temperature: -35C (wind chill -45C and colder)
• Distance: 130 miles / 215km
• Duration: 10+ days
• Final Plan: Fully self-sufficient solo expedition… carrying a 30lbs bergen plus ultra-light pulk/sledge (max 170lbs)
• Utilised technology will include 24/7 tracking/monitoring devices/software, man down alarm, satellite phone, large folding solar panel etc.
