Story
I’m ‘indoor-rowing’ the marathon on the 22nd April (coinciding with the London Marathon) in an effort to raise awareness of the awesome work of Cancer Research. Cancer has touched most of us in one way or another. In December my father was diagnosed with throat cancer...the treatment and knowledge from everyone involved has been unbelievable, from the Ear Nose & Throat Surgeon, the Cancer Nurse Specialists, the Oncologist at Mt Vernon, and of course my amazing sister and mother who have nursed Dad through the worst of the treatment.
We’ll hear in a few weeks whether the treatment has been successful, but in the meantime my goal is simply to raise as much as possible for Cancer Research.
Thank you, Rob
