80,0000 people applied to take part in the Prudential 100 mile cycle London-Surrey and I am lucky to have been one of the 25,0000 people to get a place thanks to the UK Blind Veterans. I have been involved as a volunteer with the RNIB, Coleraine Office, for many years now and with the help of members from our local Causeway Cycle Club we take blind and partially sighted people tandem cycling on a weekly basis.  This is a great opportunity for me to support this charity, it will be the biggest sportive I've ever participated in and I'm looking forward to the challenge.
