Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 25th April 2010 I will be running the London Marathon to raise funds for The Inverclyde Down’s Syndrome Support Group and Down’s Syndrome Scotland. This will be my 10th Marathon.
The Inverclyde Down’s Syndrome Support Group is run by parents to give support and a friendly face for other parents and families dealing with the issues of Down’s Syndrome.
Funds raised by and donated to the group help to provide the children with additional assistance in the areas where they need it most. One of the main areas of focus has been to provide additional speech & language therapy.
My daughter, Connie was born with Down’s Syndrome in March 2009 and the support my wife and I have received from the local group and Down’s Syndrome Scotland has been overwhelming.
Please donate to this worthwhile cause and you can help Connie and so many others live life to the full.
