Hi, my name is Charlie Bell, and I'm a 21 year old Student Nurse.  I have decided to raise money for the British Heart Foundation, as I have seen the impact a cardiological condition can have on a person, and was amazed by the research the British Heart Foundation undertakes to fight heart disease & other heart problems.

There are currently 2.3 million people in the UK living with Heart Disease, which is an umbrella term for all heart conditions including angina, heart attacks, heart failure & coronary heart disease.  This means that nearly 1 in 20 people in the UK suffer from heart disease. 

The British Heart Foundation have a few key aims:

- To reduce incidence of heart disease through round-breaking research.

- To educate about heart health.

- To provide publications to those directly affected by heart disease, to help them understand what is happening.

 

Heart disease affects us all, either directly, or through a friend/family member.  Please donate today, to help me reach my target of £1000, to help the British Heart Foundation carry on their amazing work!!
