Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Those of you that know me will know that I raise money for one charity each year by running silly distances. This year however I decided to run for 2 charities and picked the NDCS after a chance meeting I had with them whilst on holiday in the Cotswolds last year. The work they do for children across the UK is outstanding and I thought I had to get invovled. I do not give to charities that ask for money on the high street, I'd rather raise a good sum of money and donate it in my own way, and I promised the fundraiser I met that day, Aaron Isidore, that I would do just that.
Like all charites the NDCS has been affected by Covid, their government funded contribution is small and they really rely on fundraisers to make up the short fall.
Charities like the NDCS have also struggled with face coverings, with a large part of thier communication with the children coming from lip reading, so helping them out of the Covid situation is very important.
We are all affected financially by Covid but I hope you can find a small amount of money to help these children have a better quality of life.
Thanks for taking the time to read this, and thank you for your donations.
