Story
The Orbis Charity operates a flying teaching eye hospital into undeveloped areas of the world, where they reverse avoidable blindness and, at the same time, train local surgeons how to do these operations. In these areas, blindness almost equates to slow death and, by treating the blindness, they restore life and hope.
In celebration of my 90th Birthday, I have booked to abseil the 100m Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth in order to raise substantial funds in aid of Orbis' work.
As a birthday present to me and the gift sight to them, I urge you to donate as generously as you can. Thank you!
