Matilda has cerebral palsy.  Every day walking is a challenge for her and her ability to do so is fading fast but despite that she does everything she can to enjoy life to the full. She needs an operation that is only available to her in the USA to give her back the power to walk and give her the ability to live the life and give her the opportunities that every little girl dreams of .  It's a long road that she needs to travel with the operation being only the start.  She will then need at least a year of intensive physiotherapy to.  It therefore seemed appropriate that I set myself a challenge involving walking and I will be walking the South Downs Way, which is little over 100 miles, over the three days of May Bank Holiday to raise money for Matilda.
