Soles4Souls has turned Giving Tuesday into GivingShoesDay! Every $20 donation to Soles4Souls provides a new pair of athletic shoes to a child experiencing homelessness. A good pair of shoes can change a child's future. Without a good pair of shoes, kids feel embarrassed, discouraged, or left out simply because they lack something most of us take for granted.  

This is especially true for the 1.5 million kids in the U.S. who experience homelessness. Kids who receive new shoes have more confidence, attend school more regularly, and are more physically active. We can do more good when we do it together. With so much attention being drawn to what divides us, generosity brings us together. Lets leverage our combined resolve to show homeless kids they count.

I can identify with this having felt the same as a child often lacking good shoes and knowing how that made me feel.  Because of my own experience and the wonders of this programming, I'm going to personally match donations to my page up to a $1,000 in total giving.
