At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

As if we don't have enough to focus on with Amelia Joy, I started training at four weeks postpartum to run the Leeds marathon in memory of my darling Gran, Joy. (There is a lot to be said for access to the internet whilst breastfeeding at 3am!)

Gran was, to me, the most incredible woman who taught me what it is to be loved and to be kind. She made me the person I am today and without her love and guidance, I wouldn't have achieved half of what I have. She continues to inspire me everyday.

I would be so grateful for any donation to go to this brilliant charity and to help other families affected by Alzheimer's.
