Story

http://www.maggiescentres.org/eventsfundraising/events/monsterhike/about.html

Myself, Allan Stephen, Jonathan Sim, Gary Gallon, David Gallon, and Danny Stuart have signed up to take on a Monster of an event. The Six of us will take on the challenge of the Monster Bike and Hike in aid of Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centres.

Monster 2011 is the ultimate fundraising experience with participants completing a 30-mile cycle and then choosing to hike 8 (bronze), 22 (silver) or 43-miles (gold). The event takes place on the bank holiday weekend of Saturday 30 April and Sunday 1 May and takes in some of Scotland’s most awe inspiring scenery, starting under the shadow of Ben Nevis in Fort William, along the Caledonian Canal and the Great Glen Way offering views of Loch Ness en route to Inverness.

In our infinte wisdom and due to our wealth experience and expertise in cycling and hiking we decided that Gold was the only way forward??????? Actually we were all pretty boozy and it seemed like a good idea. Anyway we are committed to raising a minimum of £400 per team member and any donation would be greatly appreciated.
