Thanks for considering making a donation to North Ayrshire Swimming Club.  I've seen first hand the impact of the pandemic on the club and its' young swimmers, which is the same impact felt by so many amateur sports clubs around the world.  

I can see the enthusiasm of the young swimmers every morning when I train with them.  I want to help the swimmers and their coaches reach their potential by helping fundraise to provide training equipment and to fund training camps and competition.

For me, swimming the English Channel is a personal challenge which I've been interested in attempting since I was a teenager.  I was able to start my swim in the darkness at 3.20am on Saturday 6th August and swam ashore on a sunny afternoon in France 10 hours and 45 minutes later.  I'm delighted to now officially be an English Channel swimmer!!
