Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Rob's story: Call it a midlife crisis, but I've suddenly got the hankering to jump out of a plane from 10,000 feet. It's not something I've ever done before - and I strongly suspect it's not something I'll ever do again...

I've chosen to fundraise for the MS Trust because I know first hand (I work there) how much the services it provides are needed and how much difference fundraising makes. The Trust doesn't receive any funding from the government or the NHS, so every £ raised through activities like this is incredibly important to the thousands of people with MS who rely on the Trust's information, enquiry line and the health professionals it supports and funds.

MS itself is a cruel and unpredictable lifelong condition. I've seen its effects on friends and family members - so anything I can do to support them, I'll do willingly. Even choosing to leave a perfectly good plane two miles from the ground...

Reema's story: I have jumped out of a plane once before when I was 18 years old... had no fear, joined up through college and went for it.

I have always wanted to do it again and what better way to do it than for a charity and with my family.

The money will go towards the MS Trust - a very important service that will help so many people. I don't think I know how many people MS affects and how much it can change people's everyday life... so many people are affected by it, the money raised goes towards helping/supporting them.

This is an amazing fundraiser and I am excited to be a part of it.

Sheetal's story: One of my bucket list things to do in life. I'm finally taking the plunge. Literally! I'm super excited but at the same time trembling inside.

What better way to do it alongside raising money for this worthy cause. MS stops people moving. Most of us take for granted how lucky we are to even take the smallest steps forward.

Please donate and help raise awareness. The strength and courage people with MS have makes this experience even more worthwhile.

Thank you. x
