I’m cycling 60 miles on my fold up Brompton alongside 20 other staff and volunteers to raise funds for FareShare Sussex. This will be the first time I’ve cycled anything close to this distance in a day in at least 36 years - and I had bigger wheels back then! The route is also more hilly than I first thought.
Last year the charity provided the equivalent of 3.6million meals to people in food poverty. That’s more than 12,000 meals sent everyday to hostels, community groups, food banks and other local charities. By way of example, £25 is enough to provide 100 meals but any support whatsoever is gratefully received. Thank you.
