The Big Adventure!

This crazy idea was hatched back in August 2009 after far too many pints at a beer festival in Frodsham when me and my good pal Peter Brennan decided that it was our life long ambition to follow in Alfred Wainwrights footsteps and complete his Coast to Coast walk before age finally wore us down and we could still enjoy the treck! So the plan is to walk 200 miles in two weeks across three national parks from the Irish to the North sea.

We also thought that people might like to join us along the way and donate to a charity that helps people deal with an illness that affects all of us in some way.

The walk starts in St Bees Cumbria on the 20th May and we should roll into Robin Hood's Bay sometime on the 3rd June hopefully avoiding all the Jubilee madness that will have desended on us by then!
