Story
I decided to run the Great South Run back in February for something to set my sights on! Since then as a lot of you will know myself and Emma have had a little boy named Roman. After Roman was born the doctors noticed that something was different about him and we were given an initial diagnosis. Within the next 5 week whirlwind which was filled with MRIs, X-rays and blood tests we were finally given the diagnosis of Achondroplasia. Like me I am sure a lot of you have no idea what this is! It is a form of dwarfism, this can happen to anybody with no family history, like us.
So I have now decided to tie the run in with a charity called Little People UK. This charity do a lot for the community and help families like us, that do not know a lot about the condition. They will also help us with what we can do to make sure Roman lives life to the full.
Please help me with my fundraising and give what you can and if you can’t please share my page as there maybe someone you know who can!
