Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

A few months ago I found out that my Dad had Type 2 Diabetes. It shocked me to discover that my own father could have a weakness. I had always envisioned him as a big, strong man and I guess that not all of us are immortal. A good friend of mine also suffers with Diabetes and has done for many years. It's thanks to the support and guidance of Diabetes UK that they can get the attention and treatment they need just like the other estimated 2.9 million people in the UK that have been diagnosed.

Without the financial backing, Diabetes UK wouldn't have been able to help half as many people as they have done.

To support my Dad and my friend along with all of the other sufferers I have decided to run the London Marathon to raise money for this great cause.  This is where I call to you for support...

Many of you may know of people close to you that suffer or you may even suffer yourself.

Please give what you can.  A little goes a long way...

Thank you.
