Some work colleagues and I have decided to take part in The ABC Hike and Bike Challenge 2016 in South Africa.

The Bikers (of whom I am one) will undertake a challenging bike-ride over 5 days covering almost 400km (off-road), from George to the Red Cross Memorial Children's Hospital in Cape Town.

We are raising money for the Phoenix Burns Project, a South African charity registered as a Non-Profit Organisation (NPO:57-154) and a Public Health Organisation (PBO:930031313) in South Africa. The Phoenix Burns Project works to reduce the long-term suffering of badly burned or scalded children through accidental fires and other burns and scalds due to unsafe paraffin stoves, candles and hot water which are all too common for children in the impoverished townships of South Africa.
