Story
Firstly I would like to say thank you for looking at my Just giving page. As most of you will know I have a passion for taking part in Triathlons but for something different this year I have decided to take part in the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 mile challenge for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Some of you reading this will know I tragically lost my brother to cancer in summer 2014. When my brother Anthony was going through his treatment he told me when he feels better he wanted to do a triathlon with me so I am going one bigger and better and taking on a bigger challenge for my best friend and brother.
Anthony and I did a lot of cycling growing up together so I feel like this is a good challenge and I have fond memories riding my bike with my Brother. A lot of this did include ramps and racing round in the back garden, great times I will never forget.
Anthony didn’t directly have support from Macmillan but my parents did so the money I raise will hopefully be able to help people in similar situations. I wouldn’t want anyone to go through what we have as a family but knowing there is help and support from charities like Macmillan helps to give you a little bit of strength when going through such a tough time.
Anthony would be so supportive of me doing this challenge and for raising money for such a worthy cause so please do help by donating what you can.
Thank you
