This December grow a beard, raise funds and help us beat bowel cancer.

Story

At the conclusion of 2014, I almost lost my battle with this pain in the arse cancer... before it had even begun. Emergency surgery saved my life that day and after nearly 2 years of surgery, chemo, side effects, enough pills to sink a small ship and learning to cope, I am happy to be in remission. I still suffer a host of side effects and the general mind-f*** of the whole thing, but that's life!

From 1st December I’m captaining a small band of beard growers to raise vital funds for the charity Beating Bowel Cancer and helping them reach their goal of raising a shed load of cash, so they can support more people affected by the disease.

  • Bowel cancer is the UK's second biggest cancer killer
  • 16,000 people die every year, that's someone every 30 minutes pretty much.
  • If diagnosed early, more than 90% of bowel cancer cases can be treated successfully.
If you're a man... Raise cash for a great cause by basically being lazy.

If you're a woman... tell a man you know to grow a beard because men who can combine growing facial hair with fund raising are significantly more attractive.

Thanks for your time... now bung me a few quid!!!**

**quid=pounds... other currencies are accepted.
