I've set myself a challenge. Might not be a big challenge in the eyes
of some. The challenge is subject to change, but currently I plan to
travel approximately 1100 miles in 2 days on an 80cc bike. From home in
North Walsham to a yet to be decided location in Inverness and back. All
within 48hrs, hopefully less. At this moment in time, I'm travelling
alone. I hope to have a back up vehicle with me. Anyone is welcome to
tag along, the only stipulation is that it's a small engined
bike, below 125cc ideally, must be above 50cc and no L plates because
some of the route will touch motorways. I reckon on my average speed
being around 45mph.
The date that I will be doing this run is going to be the weekend of the 25th and 26th July.
Suggested sponsorship would be a penny a mile, though any amount would be much appreciated as every bit raised will help. Corporate sponsors welcome. Anyone that's willing to sponsor, support or take part, please get in touch.
Am I mad? Yes possibly. But I think it can be done with the right determination. Good people fight cancer everyday. This will be my fight just for 2 days. No comparison.
