Story
Gravesend is one of four RNLI lifeboat stations on the River Thames. Equipped with an Atlantic 85 it’s area of operations stretches from the Thames Barrier in Woolwich to the sea. This covers 5 London Boroughs, and parts of Essex and Kent. Gravesend is permanently crewed 24/7/365, and like all RNLI operations, it is funded entirely by charitable donations. Thanks for your support, it really does save lives.
