Story
Hello we are brothers Sami and Rafi and we would love to help fundraise for Comic Relief because of the many positive projects Comic Relief help.
We usually like to undertake physical challenges every year to fundraise but this year, we are keen to promote mental health through comedy and music.
We are going to visit as many residents as possible as a tour of Leicester to spread a Comic Relief Smile across Leicester city.
We will start our routine off for all audiences with our stand up comedy. Then, since we are both choristers at Leicester Cathedral, we will be singing classical and contemporary songs for our audiences. We will also be playing classical and contemporary pieces on our violins. Sami will also be playing three pieces on his recorder too. Whenever we get an encore for a piece of music we have performed, we always sing and/or play the piece again. To finish the act we will sing an interactive rhyming action (heads, shoulders, knees and toes) party song to round things off and leave the audience on a positive high.
Our main audiences we are reaching out to are the elderly particularly in care homes but also reaching out to other audiences too.
We are hoping that our positive energy through comedy and music will bring light entertainment and happiness. Thereby helping to promote positive well being with mental health with our communities across Leicester.
Please donate as much as you can please to support Comic Relief for Red Nose Day 2024.
Comic Relief is a wonderful charity that helps so many children and families through so many projects here in the UK as well as abroad too.
Red Nose Day is back on Friday 15 March and we are joining people across the nation to do something funny for money. However much you can spare, your donation will go to Comic Relief to help people facing poverty in our communities, here in the UK and around the world. Don't forget to tick the Gift Aid option, if you can, so Comic Relief can claim an extra 25% from the government. From us and everyone at Comic Relief, thank you. You're wonderful.
