Story
A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who sponsored me. Made it around in 4:20:37 - a fantastic day, brilliant atmosphere, very sore legs.
I’m running ran the Virgin London Marathon 2010
for Autism Concern, which is currently trying to raise £150, 000 to ensure the
charity's survival.
Autism Concern provides
quality specialist holiday activity days for children with autistic spectrum
disorders. These activity days provide an opportunity for children on the
autistic spectrum to have a fun day in a safe and secure environment with fully
trained staff and are often the only opportunity to participate in play
activities to help their interaction and social skills.
(This will be my, ahem, 4th attempt to run the London Marathon, the other three attempts having been cut short by injury or accident !)
