Story
Hi, my name’s Rivini.
I’m 15 years old and I’m donating my hair to the Little Princess Trust for the third time. I have seen children lose their hair due to medical treatment. This isn't fair to me. Shouldn't all children and young people have the right not to be stared at, to not be excluded by their peers, to have confidence in themselves?
Some children are allergic to synthetic fibres and need real hair for wigs. In light of the pandemic, this is in higher demand than ever. That’s why I’m going to give 47cm of my hair.
If you sponsor me, you aren't just giving a child new hair. The true gift is showing a child that you care.
Thank you xxx
PS Thanks to those who contributed the last two times I've done this. It's my third time donating my hair now!
The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs free of charge to children and young people up to the age of 24 that have sadly lost their own hair due to cancer treatment and other illnesses. The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. We receive no formal funding. Please help to raise money for us so that we can help more families!
