Story
In February 2024, I'll be taking on a bike trip through Cambodia, Thailand and Laos. My fellow cyclists and I will be riding over 500km to meet Lendwithcare entrepreneurs and raise funds for CARE International's poverty fighting projects.
I'm currently supporting, with fellow lenders, 39 entrepreneurs in 6 countries through microloans provisioned by Lendwithcare.
These entrepreneurs are using the loans to expand their businesses and improve the lives of their families, employees, and neighbourhoods in Ecuador, Pakistan, Palestinian Territories, Philippines, Rwanda, and Vietnam.
They are expanding their small businesses in the fishing, farming, manufacturing, and retail sectors.
The impact of my support through microloans to the above 39 entrepreneurs since 2021 has been:
- Number of loans: 20 (0 defaults)
- Entrepreneurs helped: 39
- Family members helped: 145
- Jobs created: 13
- People helped: 197
When the entrepreneurs make loan repayments, I reinvest that capital in the future of other entrepreneurs in low-income countries.
Every penny donated on this page will be used to help people in low-income countries work their way out of poverty with dignity.
I'll be paying all my own costs (flights, visas, accommodation, equipment hire etc.)
As well as donating, please consider sharing this page on Facebook, Twitter etc. to spread the word about the enabling microfinance services that Lendwithcare provides to entrepreneurs in low-income countries.
Thanks!
