My mum died recently after a long fight with Alzheimers. This terrible disease had a major impact on the whole of my family, but particularly on my father, who took on the role of her carer. 

My mum, Connie Crowley, was an amazing lady. She, like me, was a keen cyclist and life was one great series of adventures. Whilst living in America, she got her pilot's licence and flying remained a great passion for her. 

I've been given a chunk of mum's desire for adventure, which is why I am going to cycle from John O'Groats to Lands End this summer. It's a great way to remember her whilst raising awareness and funds for the Alzheimer's Society. Thank you for your donation! x
