Hi we are Steve and Kev, two recently retired drinking buddies who frequent the Rising Sun in Stanford-le-Hope, Essex. We are looking for some constructive things to do in our free time (along with some less sensible ones) and have set ourselves the challenge of having a pint (at least!!) in every Rising Sun in the UK (apparently there are 129). We plan to make a donation to each pub's charity however we are hoping to raise a sizable contribution for our Rising Sun's charity of choice St. Luke's Hospice Basildon. Please note this is not an attempt to get free beers, we have signed a pledge to pay for all our own drinks. If you choose to make a donation we, The Rising Sun and St Luke's would be very grateful.
