Story

Hi,

I love playing the Tabla (Indian drums) and have been playing since the age of four. I get so much happiness from playing and I want to share this happiness with you. I'm not brave enough to sky dive or sit in a bath of beans to raise money for charity so, the only way I know is to undergo a percussion marathon for 7 hours to raise money for BBC Children in Need. This event will be taking place on Friday 20th November at New Walk Museum in Leicester starting at 5pm and finishing at midnight. There will be added variety to this marathon because, I will be joined by my mum, Manjira and sister, Samyami throughout the marathon to provide a flavour of North Indian culture including Assam through our songs and music.

Please support this wonderful charity and If you are available on that day/night, come to the museum to enjoy a festive and vibrant 7 hours.
