⚡ ONE SPECIAL CHALLENGE 2020! ⚡

Help Ripstone raise awareness and funds for the incredible games charity SpecialEffect!

We love supporting SpecialEffect every year and for One Special Challenge 2020 we’ve set a special team challenge that gets everybody at Ripstone involved! It’s our 4th year supporting One Special Day and this time we’re going bigger than we’ve ever gone before!

⚡ THE RIPSTONE 150KM CHALLENGE ⚡

We’ve set ourselves a team challenge this year: complete 150km of activity as a team before the end of September! Each of us will contribute toward this goal and any activity is allowed as long as it’s not using a vehicle, so you could see us running, walking, bouldering, swimming, climbing or anything else we won’t get into too much trouble with. Look out for us around our hometown in Liverpool! 

We chose this year’s challenge based on the idea of promoting emotional, physical and mental wellbeing to everyone. We believe it’s important to make time to be active and focus on our individual wellbeing, and it’s more important than it ever has been in 2020 as it’s been such a challenging and restrictive year for us all. So let’s get going and raise a lot of support for SpecialEffect! Let’s make One Special Challenge 2020 our biggest event yet!

As a video game publisher, SpecialEffect is a charity very close to our hearts. They bring fun, inclusion, and confidence back into the lives of people with disabilities by helping them to access and enjoy playing video games. This something many of us will take for granted, but without the modified technology that SpecialEffect develops and provides is out of reach for many disabled gamers. SpecialEffect also provides incredible support to the industry to increase accessibility and modification support for games during development.
