Story
This year, I decided to take on an incredible journey with Choose a Challenge, in aid of Marie Curie. Now more than ever, after the huge impact of Covid-19 in the End of Life/Supportive Care services!
This challenging 6 days trek to Machu Picchu comprises of an approximately 81km/50 miles expedition, spread throughout the days confronted with varying altitudes - rising to 4,650m/15255.91ft towards Abra Salkantay.
Marie Curie is one of UK's leading End of Life charity which as an oncology nurse is close to my heart, witnessing firsthand how crucial it is that all aspects of death, dying and bereavement are to be supported.
Every penny you give, you are funding care and support for people with a terminal illness, and their families, across the UK. They provide frontline nursing and hospice care, a free support line and a wealth of information.
Thank You!
