We are both running in memory of our late grandparents who both passed away this year (May their soul rest in eternal peace). They always taught us to look after those around us and that in a crisis to reach out so we've decided to take this opportunity to do our part in helping those in need in our community and those abroad!

Millions of people are already living in crisis; refugees, people living in extreme poverty, those hit by crippling disaster. Now, the Coronavirus threatens to decimate these already devastated communities.These vulnerable people are more at risk now than ever before. Penny Appeal are working with local partners in Syria, Gaza, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Uganda, Mozambique and right here at home in the UK to provide people in need with Hygiene Kits, Food Packs, Coronavirus Testing Kits and quarantine areas, while raising awareness of how to prevent the spread of the virus. Were all affected by the coronavirus pandemic - but here in the UK, we have the luxury of clean water, safe homes and free healthcare. Impoverished people around the world living in refugee camps or abject poverty do not have that luxury. We need to help these extremely vulnerable people to get prepared and stay safe, because we know that the overcrowded and unsanitary conditions.
