Welcome to my TCS London Marathon #TeamHDA fundraising page.

In 2019 I found out I was at risk of H.D due to my Dad having it and in 2021 I discovered I had the gene. In the summer of 2022 I lost my Dad in unexpected and sudden circumstances. My wife and I went through the PGD process to prevent passing on H.D and we are incredibly grateful to have a beautiful baby girl, born in December 2023.

Huntington's sucks.
Really sucks.
One day it will likely rob me of my ability to think clearly, to enjoy myself as freely as I usually do and it might change the way people perceive me.

One love it will not rob from me is my love of running. No sir.

I plan to outrun H.D, or at least give it a run for its money.
My Dad loved running, though he never got to do London. He was a busy social worker who always made time for his family. I will take on the training and the preparation so that I can enjoy every minute of the 26.2 miles.
