Story
When I was 3 years old, on holiday in Menorca, Spain, I experienced my first anaphylactic shock. It was not a fun experience for anyone involved, but luckily, I turned out alright. As I grew up, I started having frequent panic attacks, but support from The Anaphylaxis Campaign helped me through that part of my life and now I think it's time to give back.
As part of World Allergy Week, I will be going live at 1pm on Friday 3rd July to play music on Twitch for 8 hours straight (from 1pm to 9pm BST)! I've never done a livestream longer than 2 hours let alone sing for 8 hours straight, so this will be a big challenge for me and to be honest, I cannot wait!
I appreciate all your support whether you're able to make it to the livestream or not. If you can't donate, that's ok! There are still free ways of supporting this fundraiser, you can put it out on socials and if you tag me (@rightaboutjack on everything), I will be sure to give you massive thanks!
You can read more about The Anaphylaxis Campaign below:
The Anaphylaxis Campaign is the only UK wide charity solely focused on supporting people at risk of severe allergic reactions. Anaphylaxis (pronounced ana-fill-ax-is) is a severe and life-threatening allergic reaction that can be fatal. Severe symptoms such as a swollen tongue, difficulty breathing or becoming unconscious usually develop suddenly, often within minutes after being exposed to an allergy trigger such as a particular food, latex, insect stings or certain drugs.
