Wear A Hat Day 2022 takes place on Friday 25th March. As the culmination of Brain Tumour Awareness Month, this fundraising milestone is a great way to bring people together and raise vital funds for Brain Tumour Research.

Story

We, at Rieker, are raising money in memory of our friend and colleague Jo Whitworth. Jo died recently after being diagnosed with a brain tumour at the end of last year.

We miss Jo and want to do something to help the Brain Tumour Research charity.

We are going to walk 10 miles around Market Harborough on 2nd July 2022.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease.Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this.We are the only national charity in the UK focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours through campaigning to increase the national investment in brain tumour research to £35 million per year, while fundraising to create a network of seven sustainable Brain Tumour Research Centres of Excellence across the UK.
