Story
This year, I am again riding the Prudential Ride London 100...
I said I wouldn't do it again after last years horrendous conditions (and the crash), but then I found out that Happy Days, a charity that provides vital respite breaks for families and groups who support children with additional needs; were looking for people to help them raise much needed funds - so here I am again!
Happy Days helps children and young adults with learning difficulties, physical or mental disabilities and those with acute, chronic or life limiting illnesses.
They help fund holidays for children and their families, residential trips for groups of children and young people, including community groups such as women's refuges and SEN schools.
Happy Days also helps young people who have been abused or neglected, witnessed domestic violence, been bereaved or act as carers for a parent or a sibling.
The Springfields Academy is exceptionally fortunate to be one of the organisations that is being supported by Happy Days, and plans are underway for a 2020 residential activity week, in Cornwall.
Happy Days receive no government funding and genuinely couldn’t do what they do without our help. So please, if you can - please donate through this Just Giving page.
Thank You
