Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
On July 6th 2010, 5 unfit and very inexperienced long distance riders will be attempting to cycle 190miles from Newbury to Woolacombe (North Devon) to raise money for DebRA. The journey will start in Newbury with a mere 50 mile ride to Bath on Day1. From Bath we will then cycle 70 miles to Taunton on the second day before painfully pedalling 70miles to our destination- and no we are not cycling back!
DebRA is a fantastic charity set up to help and support sufferers of EB, a very rare genetic condition in which the skin and internal body linings blister at the slightest knock or rub, causing painful, open wounds - both Tom's daughters suffer with this! DebRA is the only charity in the UK that provides nursing and welfare care for people with EB and their families. Around five thousand people are affected by EB in the UK and, without government funding, DebRA relies on the support of individuals to fund its services and international research programmes. Which is where you come in.....
Please, please, please put your hand in your pockets and sponsor us, your money is so important to DebRA and funding like this is vital so they can continue their good work.
Thank you for your support!
