This year we mark 8 yrs since we lost my brother Rick , he had battled cancer for 20 yrs , never letting cancer rule his life . In the final days of his life he asked me to take part in a charity bike ride for The Christie who had treated him for 20 yrs because he wanted to give something back . We never discussed how much he wanted to raise . I kept my promise and have been fundraising ever since and to date we sit at just under 27k raised. My hope is that this yr we can reach the 30k barrier , by taking part in various cycling events the first in March as I take on a 50km ride through the desert in Dubai accompanied by my wife Sue, then April as I cycle the 67 miles around Loch Ness
