Ride London-Essex 100 · 29 May 2022 ·
The Essex Heart Fund is here to help save lives in Essex. It will do this by funding innovative research projects and by supporting groups working in our communities to assist those with ongoing heart conditions or recovering from surgery. You can find out more about us at Essex Heart Fund Website Thank you for choosing to support us. The Essex Heart Fund is managed by Essex Community Foundation (registered charity no. 1052061)
On Sunday May 29th, Steve Kirk, Stuart Inskip & myself, will be taking part in Ride London-Essex. The iconic 100 mile distance is the longest challenge ride in the Ride London programme. The brand new route for 2022 will start from Victoria Embankment and head in to Essex via Epping Forest. On the route we will pass some of Essex’s most picturesque towns and villages, including Ongar, Fyfield, the Rodings and Great Dunmow, before joining a section of the 2014 Stage Three Tour de France route which takes in Felsted, Chelmsford and Writtle and then heading back towards Ongar and central London. The ride culminates with a final sprint to Tower Bridge.
Steve and I last completed RideLondon in 2019 and it was a truly fantastic day from start to finish. This year promises to be even better with the inclusion of some local haunts. We raised £700 in 2019 and this year, with your help, we hope to raise even more.
Thanks to everyone for their support!!
