Story
Throughout June, Ricoh will celebrate SDG Month – a global initiative that aims to strengthen our commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by encouraging positive action for our local communities and planet.
We are focusing our SDG Month activities across EMEA this year on supporting those impacted by the war in Ukraine. The war goes against our founding principles as an organisation, and we are united in our desire for a peaceful resolution.
The humanitarian crisis caused by the war in Ukraine is desperate. More than six million people have left Ukraine so far, while eight million have become displaced within the war-torn country itself, taking cover from shelling and fighting; desperate for a safe escape. The Red Cross has been working around the clock to get critical care to those who need it, both in Ukraine and surrounding countries. Without any immediate signs of an end to the violence, people urgently need our help right now.
Your donations will enable the Red Cross to continue providing victims of the war with food, water, first aid, medicine, clothes and shelter. Together we can help give hope to people in crisis during this deeply disturbing time.
