Story

I am taking part in a sponsored walk with my brother Michael Wilding and brother in law Stuart Thorp and The Anthony Ainsworth Three-Towers-Trek. We, as a group, are supporting the charity 'Miles of smiles'.

On saturday 26th May 2012 we will be walking from Darwen Tower to Blackpool Tower going via Hoghton Tower. The walk is a total of 34miles. It is going to be a very tough day but we are all confident of completing the task after some great practice walks.

We are doing more practice walk before the main event, two of which will be doing the Yorkshire 3 peaks. some of the group will be attempting to do the 3 peaks on two consecutive Saturdays, 12th & 19th May 2012.

If you would like to join us on this fundraising event there is still time to register at www.three-towers -trek.co.uk On the main event you do not have to do the full 34 miles. The trek will be broken in to 5mile sections so you can do as much or as little as you wish.

Please visit the Facebook page The Anthony Ainsworth Three Towers Trek where you will find all relevent information relating to the up coming practice walks. Anyone is welcom to join the practice walks even if you are not doing the main event.

At the moment the group is made up of people who were complete strangers but who came together to support a great childrens charity. On the practice walks great friends have been made, great stories told BUT most importantly we have had great fun.
