Story
Well it may come a surprise but i am going to try and run the London Marathon a week after turning 50 in support of The Fire Fighters Charity. This amazing charity has helped a dear friends family in their hour of need. A few years back Paul was assaulted whilst on a night out and has been left in a state of 'disorder of consciousness'. This has meant that Paul is now in need of care 24/7 and will spend the rest of his life in a care home. When the assault happened Paul's young children were only 4 years old and his fiancee was 6 months pregnant with their third child, Paul spent the next 5 months in hospital around the country, trying to rehabilitate him but to no avail. Now Paul is unable to communicate with his children or fiancee, and has never met his newborn son.
The charity have helped support his family by providing respite for his fiancee and breaks away with the family so she is able to recuperate herself, as well as help the children to cope with this terrible event.
Training is going well and hopefully we shall be ready for the day
Your donations are greatly appreciated.
